The purpose of the Salem Church Choir shall be to give witness to and of the saving grace of Jesus Christ through a music ministry and to promote and encourage fellowship, spiritual growth and development among its' members. The Church Choir shall support the work of the Church under the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Pastorate.
Goals/Objectives:
To increase Choir members' awareness of the meaning of worship and their roles & responsibilities.
To help Choir members identify individual strengths & weaknesses.
To appreciate God's unique gifts to each Choir member.
To experience God's love and acceptance.
To appreciate the ways we compliment each other through our music ministry.
To appreciate what it means to be a part of the body of Christ.
To help Choir members identify how, why, when & where our service must harmonize with the will of God.
The Church Choir sings at the 7:45 a.m. service on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month.
